Zad Archery Guides
First hour through the King — skill tree, jobs, loot, and gathering.
This hub is the map for every Zad Archery how-to on the wiki. The game is a single-player incremental archer from Samharia Studios, live on Steam since September 1, 2026. You hold a hillside lane, shoot waves of target-like monsters, and feed coins, gems, and craft tokens into systems that stay on the left-hand tray: skill tree, jobs, crafting, alchemy, and gathering.
If you just installed the game, start with Getting Started. That page is the first-hour route: native resolution, Arrow Fall clicks, which skill-tree nodes to buy, and why you should not dump every rare into a sell chord. Pair it with Controls so right-click equip and Ctrl+Shift+right-click sell do not fight the browser habits leftover from the itch.io demo.
Combat and progression
The combat strip is always on screen. Your archer stands left, targets march from the right, and a red bar at the top is the wave’s hit points. Arrow Fall is the click-to-cast rain you see labeled under the grass. The skill tree sits on the first left tab and is the only place early coins should go until gem chance, cooldown, and charges feel real.
Jobs live on the bow tab. Archer is free. Sniper is the documented second class and keeps Archer skills, including Explosive Arrow. Three later jobs stay silhouetted until you spend gems. The jobs guide explains the stack, the gem costs, and why farming claw-target gems is not optional.
Economy, crafts, and the pickaxe tab
Loot is not flavor. Target families drop coins, green gems, and blue craft tokens, plus rare armor and bows with extra Arrow Fall projectiles or gold-gain rolls. Crafting covers the anvil tab, success/fail rolls, and the exact click chords shown on item cards.
Mining is the question Steam threads keep asking. There is no separate overworld pin labeled Mining Site. Open the pickaxe tab: Gathering level 1 unlocks Herbalism, then Mining and Fishing ungate as you level the profession. Full routing is on Mining and Gathering.
Endgame and related hubs
Guardians appear as you push waves. Missing one used to lock the King until patch 1.0.2. Guardians and the King is the walkthrough for spawn rules, perks, wave 50, and the restart restore.
When you need rankings rather than tutorials, switch to the tier list for jobs, skills, and builds. The farming planner tells you when to sit on a wave versus push. Official news stays in Updates. Discord, Steam, and itch.io links are on the links hub.
Late systems sit after the King route: alchemy for the flask tab, achievements for the twelve Steam pops, and a review if you still have not paid $6.99. The desktop dropdown only lists eight rows; everything else is on this hub via View all.
Use the pages in this hub in order if you are new: getting started, controls, skill tree, jobs, crafting, mining, then guardians. Each page links sideways to the others so you never have to bounce back to the homepage to find the next mechanic.
Frequently Asked Questions

The Steam 1.0 campaign. Demo footage is cited where it still matches live systems such as Archer, Sniper, and the gathering tab.
Where do I find mining, alchemy, and cards?
Left-hand tabs. Mining is under gathering. Alchemy is the potion tab next to crafting. Cards and shaping are late unlocks mentioned in the full-game feature list.
