Zad Archery Ring System
Nine perks that change how all your other systems behave — after level 30, using Portal currency.
The September 4, 2026 Mega Update introduced the Ring System alongside the Symbol system. Where Symbols address linear progression across the whole run, Rings are nine dedicated perks that kick in after level 30 and work with every system you have already built — skill tree, jobs, crafting, Shaping, Mastery, and the new Symbol nodes. This page documents what is confirmed from the official update announcement and how the community is using Rings in practice.
You do not see Rings before level 30. Portal currency — the resource Rings consume — only starts appearing after you cross that threshold. Treat level 30 as the gate and Portal currency as the fuel.
What is confirmed about the Ring System
The developer announcement on Steam (September 4, 2026) confirmed these facts:
- Portal currency appears after level 30 and fuels Ring purchases
- Nine Ring perks are available, each described as significantly empowering your character
- Rings work with all systems in the game, not just one progression track
- Endless farming mode was added in the same update
- The Level 50 combat cap was removed — you can now push beyond wave 50
The exact names of all nine Ring perks and their individual values are not published in a citable source at the time of this writing. This wiki will update when community testing produces verified numbers.
How Rings connect to existing systems
Rings are not isolated. The announcement specifically said Rings “work with all systems in the game.” That phrasing means:
- Skill tree: a Ring perk that boosts projectile damage amplifies every Arrow Fall hit and auto-shot, not just one node line
- Jobs: Sniper’s move-while-attacking pairs with Ring perks that scale attack speed or add on-kill effects
- Crafting: a Ring that triggers on crit could pair with high-crit crafted bows for burst windows
- Shaping: shaped weapons and runes may receive additional scaling from Ring passive effects
- Mastery: Mastery of Momentum resets a random skill on hit; a Ring that adds hits or attack speed increases the odds of that reset triggering
- Symbol system: Ring perks layered on top of Symbol nodes compound the linear progression the Mega Update introduced
Do not treat Rings as a replacement for any of those systems. They are a late-game multiplier that assumes you already have a working foundation.
When to start paying attention to Rings
Level 30 is the gate. Before level 30, focus on the skill tree buy order, job unlocks, crafting upgrades, and gathering tab. Rings only become accessible once Portal currency enters your economy.
After level 30, evaluate whether a Ring perk changes your current blocker more than another node in an existing system. If you are stuck on a high-level Guardian, a Ring that adds survival or burst damage may answer faster than another skill tree purchase.
Endless farming and the removed wave 50 cap
The Mega Update removed the Level 50 cap that players reported as a wall during launch week. Combined with the new Endless farming mode, this means:
- You can continue past wave 50 without a hard restart
- Endless farming lets you run a wave repeatedly to accumulate resources without advancing the campaign
- Portal currency gains scale with continued play, funding additional Ring purchases
Use Endless mode when a Guardian wipe has reset your progress and you need to rebuild gem income before pushing again. The farming planner has the specific wave-hover rules for post-1.0.2 play.
What is still unverified
Do not treat the following as facts until they appear in a repeatable source:
- Names and values for all nine Ring perks
- Best Ring perk ranking or build order
- Ring interactions with specific Symbol nodes or Preferred Job bonuses
- Endless farming wave targets or resource multipliers
- Whether Ring perks can be reset or reassigned
When Samharia publishes official Ring documentation or the community produces verified perk tables, this page will be updated to match.
How to use this page without verified rankings
Choose Rings by the role they appear to fill:
- Name the blocker you are currently facing — damage, survival, resource flow, or scaling
- Read the Ring perk description in the current build, not a screenshot from before the Mega Update
- Compare against what an existing system already does well — a Ring that overlaps your best stat is redundant
- Test one change at a time — Endless farming is long, and multiple Ring swaps without data produce no useful record
